Minco Eggersman (born 27 May 1977) is a Dutch musician, singer/songwriter, label owner and music entepreneur based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Eggersman is the owner of Dutch indie labels, Sally Forth Records and Volkoren. He also owns and runs the Dutch online indie music store, www.youmakemusic.com. He is singer and drummer in the band At the close of every day and drummer in The Spirit That Guides Us. He also releases music as Minco Eggersman and as ME, although all of these albums are now listed under 'Minco Eggersman' on streaming platforms such as Spotify, so that almost all ME scrobbles will end up here. Most of Eggersman's film scores are released under his full name, including WIN/WIN (2010), Drone (2013), Kavkasia (2017), In Blue (2017), Het Laatste Verhoor (2018) and Tapwater Engine (2019). His three 'regular' studio solo albums were released under the ME moniker, but may also be scrobbled as Minco Eggersman: The Wagon Fair (2004), Hamden (2010) and Reservoirs (2012). Eggersman's first solo album, The Wagon Fair, was a dark americana record (compared to the work of At the close of every day). Hamden and Reservoirs were dark, brooding 'eighties' albums with a sound that has been compared to the work of David Sylvian. As of 2018 Eggersman has recorded two albums with his latest musical partner in crime, Theodoor Borger: Unifony (2018) and Unifony II (2020). Upon release of the first Unifony album, most fans and critics considered Unifony to be a band name: hence the scrobbles under Unifony. Both albums, however, are credited to Eggersman, Borger and their collaborators, including Aaron Parks and Óskar Guðjónsson, on streaming platforms, with Unifony merely being the album titles.
